We are looking for a motivated (Junior) Accounts Payable Accountant to join its dynamic Finance team. The position is a full time-job based in Brussels. We are a pioneering and growing media company that covers politics, policy and personalities in Europe.

What you’ll do

In this role, you'll be utilizing your technical accounting expertise to provide the following tasks:

• You are responsible for the entire purchasing process
• You check invoices for additional or missing data
• Process the employee’s expense notes 
• Prepare supplier payments and monitoring of payments deadlines
• Booking of Cash movements 
• Correspond with suppliers and respond to inquiries
• Assistance on monthly closing process

What you’ll need

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• 1 year of experience working as an Accounts Payable Accountant, or a similar role in an accounting department (internships will be also counted)
• Highly computer literate (MS office)
• Excellent communication skills
• Fluent in French and English
• Pro-active, organized, dynamic and accurate
• Team player, who is also able to work independently
